FAQ’s
Q.1 – Where do we source our timber?
We use the very best hardwood and Accoya which we source from the leading UK & Irish suppliers. All our suppliers are FSC approved and all our timber is European. We do not use Chinese woods or timber for unsustained forests.
Q.2 – What hardware do we use on our doors?
We use only the most durable ironmongery. Our standard Fab & Fix lever handles are the leading lever handle brand on the market. We also use Grade 13 ball bearing hinges along with high security Winkhaus 3-point locks with anti-bump cylinders for added security & peace of mind.
Q.3 – What draft seal protection do we use?
We use Schlegel draft sealing rubber which comes with a lifetime guarantee.
Q.4 – Do we manufacture and design all our joinery products?
Yes, we design each and every window and door with our customers, right down to the smallest detail. Our master craftsmen then take this and bring it to life in our workshop in Trim. Each customer is more than welcome to drop by and have a look at their door mid-production to see how it is coming along and add or take away any feature they like. At Trim Joinery we know how important it is to give our customer’s their dream windows & doors.
Q.5 – What finish do we use on our products?
All our windows and doors are fully spray finished here in our workshop. We use the leading brand of Teknos paint and varnish to give our products a long lasting, hardwearing finish.
Q.6 – Who fits our windows and doors?
Only our fully qualified joiners fit our windows and doors. We don’t bring in contracted fitters to install our products.
